Frederick Andreae, AIA, Owner
Fred received his Bachelor of Arts and Master of Architecture degrees from Yale University and completed the Solar Energy Now course at Arizona State University. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects and has designed buildings in twelve states and the Bahamas. Fred is active in the community and has served on the boards of directors of numerous civic organizations. He is currently on the board of the Shenandoah National Park Trust, represents the National Trust for Historic Preservation on the Cornerstones Advisory Commission for the Cedar Creek and Belle Grove National Historical Park, and is vice-president of the board of the Beautification of Front Royal Committee, and treasurer of Scenic 340 Project, Inc.
Mary Powers Ryan, AIA
Mary has been with Frederick Andreae Architects since 2004. She received her Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Virginia and her Master of Architecture from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. She is registered in Virginia and North Carolina and is a member of the American Institute of Architects and of NCARB.
Prior to joining Frederick Andreae Architects, Ms. Ryan had her own practice in Raleigh, NC. While living in Raleigh, she was active in the Pullen Park Master Plan Committee, the Visioning for Pullen Park Neighborhood, and The Hillsborough Street Redesign Project.
